Globalization coupled with increasing merger and acquisition activity makes it ever more difficult for food and beverage manufacturers to cost-effectively manage food quality and safety across the food chain. Adding to this growing pressure in 2016 are the new FDA's Food Safety Modernization Act laws, put in place to ensure responsibility and accountability.

Reliance on contract manufacturers and global supplier networks means manufacturing is becoming more complex, resulting in a direct increased complexity of the supply chain. In turn, this can impact and reduce quality. The FSMA holds manufacturers responsible and accountable for quality across all points in the value delivery chain. Reliance on paper- based records to manage food quality processes creates inefficiencies and a lack of visibility across the supply chain.

To overcome this challenge F&B manufacturers require effective and efficient supplier and importer quality management procedures to monitor and ensure supplier quality regiment is executed.

This webinar, ‘Food Safety and Quality in 2016: Simplifying FSMA Compliance through Technology’,  presented by Brandon Henning, Solution Director at Sparta Systems, Inc. and Jim Toman, Senior Food Specialist, MESA Food Safety Council will deliver key learnings and expert guidance for food and beverage manufacturers in 2016. Using an Enterprise Quality Management Solution, it is possible to automate quality management processes and streamline quality information across the supply chain.

In This Webinar You Will

  • Discover the impact of ‘Globalization’ on the supply chain & food safety
  • Explore FSMA: What to expect in 2016 and beyond
  • Uncover 3 key steps to support food safety / FSMA
  • Understand how to develop an efficient food quality & safety program leveraging technology
